This is an early winter painting of Indian Creek in Idaho. This is looking at the creek facing North from the same spot the previous post was looking South. I like this time of year where the snow is not too deep, but the trees have lost all their leaves and show their skeletons.
This was a view on Indian Creek in near Swan Valley Idaho. This was looking South from the same point in the previous post looking North.
I had recently watched several movies about wild horses and they reminded me of my earlier days when we use to see them all the time in Wyoming. Tried to catch that feeling in this painting about the free spirit they represent.
I just felt this painting represented a time in our history where things were simpler. The old Model A sets the time. No internet or cell phones.
I just love the Teton Mountains in the background with the sun hitting the peaks.
